Nippers
Every parent wants their child to lead a happy, healthy and active youth. There is no better place for this than introducing your child to surf lifesaving and nippers. Nippers is a junior program that introduces children aged 5 to 13 to surf lifesaving. It is a fun outdoors activity that grows a child’s confidence, teaches valuable life skills and knowledge. Nippers is a great way for children to make friends, be active and enjoy the beach in a safe environment.
Every surf lifesaving club around Australia offers a nippers program, all with various styles and sizes.

Club Championship Days
A club championship day, is a day that allows all of our nippers training and skills to be put to the test. It is a fun way for our nippers to see how they are tracking in a fun and friendly environment. It helps our nippers familiarise themselves with competition. There will be a range of activities that will suit all age groups.
Although Nippers are awarded points for competing and finishing in the top 4 positions, the Club Championship day is still all about having fun. Each competitor receives a point for trying an event.
But it’s not hard work. We like to call it serious fun! Nippers is a great way for children to make friends, be active and enjoy the beach in a safe environment.
